Cowman triathlon & aquabike

The Cowman, Calfman, and Stampede Triathlon and Aquabike events are coming back on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at Emberton Country Park with the Calfman Triathlon being awarded as a World Qualifier (Standard Distance Triathlon).
These events are open for all athletes, you do not need to be a member of British Triathlon to take part.
All Relay teams and Aquabike athletes will start with the their respective Triathlon distance athletes and will follow the same swim and bike course.
Participants will start with the swim in the lake situated next to the sailing club. The bike course will take athletes on a scenic tour of the local area, while the run course will navigate a combination of both on-and off-road sections around the lake.
We look forward to welcoming all competitors and spectators to this exciting and challenging event in 2024.
BTF Race Pass
To participate in this event, you are required to become a member of British Triathlon and hold a race licence. You must either become a Core or Ultimate annual member HERE.
OR purchase a single use RACE PASS for your race.
NOTE: all non-BTF members of a relay team must purchase their own Race Pass.
As part of the terms and conditions of all multisport events governed by the BTF by purchasing an Race Pass you agree that your personal details will be shared with the BTF. If you are already affiliated with British Triathlon Federation you do not need to do anything before the event day.
Venue and Parking
The Cowman Triathlon & Aquabike will take place at Emberton Country Park, Olney Rd, Emberton, Olney MK46 5FJ.
There is ample parking within Emberton Park. As an athlete, you will be given free entry into the park, any spectators not travelling with you, will need to pay on arrival.

Why take part in the Cowman?
Race Packs will need to be collected from the registration tent based at Emberton Country Park. Race Packs can be collected at the following times:
Saturday 3rd August between 12:00 – 14:00
Sunday 4th August from 06:00
On the day entries welcome. Cash and card accepted.
Your bike can only be racked on the day of the race. Transition will be open from 6am and will close at 08:30.
Requests to defer your entry in the Cowman Tri and Aquabike events will be accepted up to 30 days before the event. An entry that has been deferred may not be deferred again.
Yes, all athletes will enter the water a few minutes before the race begins and you will all begin together.
Cowman Distances 18+
Calfman Distances 17+
Stampede Distances 15+ (Parental consent required for 15 year olds as the cycle route takes place on open main roads).

TRAIN FOR TRI 25.00
£25 (normally £30). The train for triathlon course is perfect for beginners who are looking to enter their first triathlon event and for those looking to gain additional race specific knowledge.
TRI SQUAD TRAINING 8.00
£8 (Normally £9). Tri Squad sessions incorporate specific skills for triathlon swimming – sighting, race starts, buoy turning, deck ups and pacing.
